A selection of Jamieson Park photographs from Tom Ferrie

It's a very basic park with a kind of structure down one side, with 'Aberdeen Lads Club JFC' painted on the side in club colours. Whether this is used by any supporters as shelter, or by the two sets of coaches I'm not sure.

Social Club: Unknown

Club Information:

Aberdeen Lads Club are like a YMCA designed to keep kids out of trouble in their area, Tillydrone, which is regarded as one of the most deprived areas of Aberdeen. The 'junior' side is the highest level at the club and had come under threat in 1999 because of tight funding. Despite the name, they are not a youngsters-only club, and in 2001-02 had veteran Ray Yule on their books.

The amateur arm is called ALC Chattan, and they have sides at all the younger age groups. A websearch on Google will bring up the pages of ALC Wolves, only of the U16 sides that the club runs.
