It's a very basic park with a kind of structure down one side, with 'Aberdeen Lads Club JFC' painted on the side in club colours. Whether this is used by any supporters as shelter, or by the two sets of coaches I'm not sure. Social Club: Unknown |

Lads Club are like a YMCA designed to keep kids out of trouble in their area,
Tillydrone, which is regarded as one of the most deprived areas of Aberdeen. The
'junior' side is the highest level at the club and had come under threat in 1999
because of tight funding. Despite the name, they are not a youngsters-only club,
and in 2001-02 had veteran Ray Yule on their books. 2001 population:

| Getting There Directions by road: From city centre (Union Street): At east end of Union Street turn left up King Street but turn left again almost immediately into North Street (A946) following this road about a mile northwards. It then becomes the A96 leading out of the north of the city and continue it for around another mile (now called the Great Northern Road). An area of trees/playing fields will be visible down to the right of the duel carriageway. To reach these, take the first turning on the right - this small road is sign-posted for a nursing home but also leads to the playing fields. Veer right at the bottom of the hill and at far side of playing fields to the left is Jamieson Park. Nearest Railway Station: Aberdeen Bus routes: 17 (Blue Line), 18 (Claret Line) or Stagecoach 305 (Elgin/Banff via Coast) will drop you on Great Northern Road - ask to get off at Iceland. Cross road at pedestrian crossing, and turn left. Walk up 50 yards and there's a road on the right that goes downhill into the playing fields (signposted Aberdeenshire Rugby Club). |

| Club Information: Islavale played at Fife Park in the town of Fife Keith until around 1999, but have since moved onto a new park in Keith. Historically, people who lived on the Fife Keith side of the River Isla were Islavale supporters, while those on the Keith side followed Keith in the Highland League. Gates nowadays number around 50. | Getting There Directions by road: From South (A96) at the north of Aberdeen: Follow signs for airport coming out of the city and signs for Dyce (A947) which leaves the A96 at Bucksburn. Within a mile of joining this road is Stoneywood village and one should take the turn off to the right down Stoneywood Terrace, which is the first major turnoff to the right on this stretch of road.
