Merson Park is pretty much undeveloped, with only the dugouts and the mesh fence around it preventing it from just being a park pitch.

Club Information:

Rovers were one of the top sides in the old Scotscoup North League which briefly became a feeder for the top flight of North Junior football. Another change has seen the Scotscoup League become the 3rd tier, with Buckie Rovers one of four sides from that league who elected to play in the combined set-up. However, Rovers withdrew from the 2004-05 season after only a couple of games.

The playing area is fenced off by a metal railing, while the ground itself borders Princess Royal Park, home of Deveronvale. A 5-a-side court is at one end and at the other is the clubhouse and changing rooms. The park can benefit from Deveronvale's floodlights in winter!

Club Information:

Deveronside are the town of Banff's second team. They actually became a part of Deveronvale FC a few years ago, although the link is fairly tenuous, with little or no player exchanges.

They took the decision, very late in the day, to have non-playing membership of the SJFA for season 2006-07. As it stands, they'll re-enter North Junior Football in August 2007, in the North Region Second Division.

Directions by road: From city centre (Union Street): At east end of Union Street turn left up King Street but turn left again almost immediately into North Street (A946) following this road about a mile northwards. It then becomes the A96 leading out of the north of the city and continue it for around another mile (now called the Great Northern Road). An area of trees/playing fields will be visible down to the right of the duel carriageway. To reach these, take the first turning on the right - this small road is sign-posted for a nursing home but also leads to the playing fields. Coulardbank Playing Fields (before enclosure) from Steve Broughton

Coulardbank is a basic playing field within Lossiemouth, though improvements were carried out over the summer of 2008. The club's long-term plan was to build a new ground elsewhere in the field, but what was put in place was a steel boundary fence, a standard being imposed on the unenclosed North Region venues. A wooden handrail was also put around the pitch. Despite being enclosed, the facility would still be available for use by the local community.
